Melbourne Metro is due to open in 2025. Three stations have been completed but are not yet open to the public. The tour will include a walk-through ANZAC station, lunch at the iconic Naughtons Hotel, and a guided walk around the Parkville station precinct.
The ANCAZ tour will be led by Kate Walsh, CYP’s Director of Communications and Stakeholder Engagement, who has been in this role since the project’s inception. The Parkville tour will be jointly led by Neil Hutchinson, the City of Melbourne’s Manager of State Projects and Robert Moore, the former Manager of Urban Design for the City of Melbourne. Over lunch, Dr Eric Keys will explain the planning that preceded the project, highlighting some lessons learnt.
